Hosier Lane is the heart of Melbourne, 'street-art capital': graffiti is tacitly permitted by the city and constantly renewed, so yesterday's masterpiece may be painted over today — impermanence is the art. Once a forgotten back lane, it's now a pilgrimage site for street artists worldwide; nearby ACDC Lane and Duckboard Place are just as good. Melburnians say: 'If you don't get graffiti, you don't get Melbourne.'
Costumbres locales
