Contexto cultural

Once the 'kitchen garden' of the 17th-century Keukenhof Castle, since 1949 it has become the world's largest bulb garden every spring. More than 800 varieties of tulip, with hyacinths and daffodils, make a 32-hectare symphony of colour through which Dutch growers show the world the strength of their horticultural kingdom. The theme changes every year; in 2026 the renovated Juliana Pavilion features an orchid show, and the flower parade is a national festival.

  • picnic only in designated areas.
